Felix and Rose Paul30 Dec 2014 Thank you and your team of doctors, nurses and other staff for having brought me back to the normal life in a short time.
Dear Dr. MOHANDAS,
We wish to reciprocate your thoughtful greetings of the season. I do not know what MIOT stands for, but I think it stands also for
INTENSIVE CARE ( 24 X 7 )
OPERATION SUCCESS ALWAYS
TRAINED DEDICATED FULL TIME DOCTORS.
Thank you and your team of doctors, nurses and other staff for having brought me back to the normal life in a short time. And especially your personal visit when I was in hospital.
May Christ help you continue in your good work to the human race.
Felix Paul & Rose Paul
AshaEven though we’ve been associated with MIOT for a long time, it was the first time one of us actually came in as a patient and the experience has reinforced our belief that we are doing the right thing!
Even as I thank the entire MIOT team , I would like to place on record my appreciation of a few individuals who helped me through the 8 days I was there.
Dr Trevor Nair whose early morning ICU visits & interactions gave me the feel that every small thing was taken seriously and addressed; Dr Varun who with his attention to minute changes, quick and definite responses and unflagging energy kept me positive; Sister Richa (ICU) who took care of me right through with complete confidence and attention to my slightest discomfort ; Physiotherapist Mani (ICU) who firmly insisted I walk with him in the wee hours of the morning ; Sisters Bessie Thomas, Gandhimathi & Janaki ( in the ICU) and Sisters Chitra & Anju ( later in my room) – for never panicking, for their quiet confidence and endless patience ; Ms Sajini who saw to it every day that we were more than comfortable in every way. And ofcourse my surgeon Dr Eapen Koshy who’s complete conviction on my getting fully well has me set a new goalpost: Registering for the Wipro Marathon 5 km walk in December – something which I would never have dreamt of doing!
Together I find they have given me an even better reason to get well and come back stronger- to make sure I do justice to their incredible effort. Thankyou MIOT.
Sonia AnandIn all the years I have lived in chennai my visit to MIOT happened only 2 days back.
Firstly I was astounded by the energy exuded by Dr. Mohandas at his age. Secondly the service all the admin staff offered was excellent.
Thirdly the expertise and confidence that Dr. Bhaskaran exuded as he worked on a fibrositis in my appendix scar was amazing. A small injection has relieved me a yoga teacher from so many connected tightness due to the fibrositis.
Hari om and love
Vijaya SomasundaramWords cannot adequately describe the immense gratitude to you personally and to your hospital for all that you have done for my son, Vikram and for my husband, Somasundaram.
On the first day that we met, you mentioned “You pay, we serve you”. However, what actually happened is something much more. I know for a fact that you went out of the way to make us feel comfortable, bent a few of your own rules (which is more difficult that bending rules made by others) and made us feel as if we were among family surrounded by people who cared. I came in desperation looking for a scientific minded doctor and I found not only just that but a whole scientific minded institution. You were like the lighthouse in a chaotic storm. Thank you.
I was slightly crestfallen that I could not meet you personally on the day of our departure and convey our thanks. However, we are scheduled for a review in mid June at which point I will have the opportunity to do so.
