The medication examinations given to me were to the best of my expectations. I’m truly convinced by the services rendered to me by MIOT International. I further recommended the hospital to make more innovation and invention to improve human life across the globe. I finally appeal to management of the hospitality to open a branch in home country, the Republic of South Sudan because MIOT International is popular in my country and our two governments are working in tided bilateral relations.

Dear Dr. Prithvi Mohandas,
We are from Nairobi, Kenya and I was diagnosed with colon cancer at one of the hospitals in Nairobi towards the end of September, 2020. This took us into a spin and our local Doctors advised us to do it in Nairobi as quickly as possible. We had several cases that have been done here in India very successfully and on that basis, we embarked on looking for the hospital that can be able to admit. We sent our medical report to several hospitals in India for the quotation and possibly admission. For the seven hospitals, we sent our request; it was only MIOT International that came up with a personalized quotation and interpretation of our case. The interpretation was so clear and understandable to the extent that we felt that we have someone who has known the remedy of what is ailing me.
All the necessary facilitation for the visa was arranged and we arrived here on 13th October 2020 at 10.30pm. It did not take long; I was met by Prof. V. Baskaran who explained to us how him and his team were going to manage my case. I went through the investigations and the first surgery which entailed a resection of the affected part was done 6 days upon my arrival, the 19th day of October, 2020. The second surgery to close the ileostomy was performed on 30th October, 2020. In both cases, I was informed in detail what was being carried out. All were very successful. Notwithstanding my problem, the experience with the MIOT International has been really humbling.
The MIOT management staff has been very helpful. The Doctors have been visiting me regularly; the nurses are always ready to help. The nurse’s response time once you press the red button is amazing; before you could settle your head, they were already standing next to you enquiring the kind of assistance you needed. The ambience in where we are staying is perfect; clean and has no trace of hospital association, just like in any modern hotel. I would, however, wish to point out one thing that I came to realize after a short stay at MIOT. As you may be aware, sick people do have endless questions which they keep on asking now and again, repeatedly. The regular visits we received from the doctors were perfect. Especially Prof. Baskaran who was very patient with our endless questions. We really appreciated this and this formed part of the portion of my healing. His patience is indeed a rare trait. We take this special occasion to thank him very unreservedly for the numerous times he spent in understanding our case and explaining it effortlessly to me.
The last few days, I dealt with Dr. Suman who also demonstrated an adequate amount of patience to my enquiries. Lady Sujithra was equally very understanding and came to visit us every morning. Generally, all the staff we interacted with were good and caring.
Finally, we are now going home as a happy couple. We have taken all the contacts and definitely will be in touch all the time. Both as a follow up for my case or referring someone to this wonderful facility. Keep it up and God bless you all.

Our family got COVID-19 so we were scared and our mom friend recommended MIOT Hospital so we went there and we are a middle class family so we don’t have that much money so the MD Dr. Prithvi Mohandas helped us a lot by giving us discount and he took care of us very much, he comes to our room everyday twice and told about our health and nurses helped us a lot. We were very happy since we are alive because of the MD Dr. Prithvi Mohandas.
MD is really kind and a good person. I loved him a lot because he treated us very happy and we thank him very much. He came and helped us a lot like a fairy and God. He is the best doctor in the world, not the world in the universe. If we did not come and see him we are not alive, we are dead. Thank you, MIOT and especially the MD Dr. Prithvi Mohandas.

Elango04 Nov 2020 I wish to thank the entire COVID-19 team of MIOT for their best efforts and excellent services to mankind during this difficult COVID-19 period.
I am Elango, one of the COVID-19 patients treated successfully at MIOT Hospital. I was admitted on 14.10.2020 and discharged on 22.10.2020. During these 9 days of treatment, the notable thing I wish to register is, “right from the day one, the fear of COVID-19 has gone”. The care and treatment by the Doctors / Medical assistants / Staff were really very nice. They have moved with COVID patients as like any other normal patients, not as “discriminated ones”. The way of treatment itself cures the patients mentally.

I would like to narrate my experience regarding treatment of COVID-19 patients at MIOT Hospitals. At the outset I wish to state that I am working as Deputy Commissioner for the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh based at Nellore and presenting my honest opinion below regarding the treatment of COVID patients and facilities at MIOT Hospitals.
I was diagnosed for COVID-19 and required admission and got admitted in MIOT Hospitals on 21.08.2020 after making enquiries regarding which hospital was best in Chennai for COVID treatment. Dr. Prithvi Mohandas, Managing Director of MIOT and heading the COVID treatment centre deserves all accolades. In COVID pandemic usually doctors and paramedical staff would hesitate to go near the patient. They are not at fault. It is the personal risk involved that keeps them away. Whereas, Dr. Prithvi Mohandas would visit each and every patient every day, I repeat every day, and enquire about their health and progress. In spite of the huge personal risk involved I have personally observed that he never hesitated to talk to the COVID patients and enquire about their wellbeing. He is undoubtedly a role model for the medical fraternity.
Dr. Yavar of MIOT was very helpful in getting me admitted to MIOT. He was very responsive and would respond to all calls and messages instantly. I would first like to express my deep gratitude to Dr. Yavar in this regard. Dr. Sathya too was quite helpful. She would visit the patients regularly and instil confidence in them. Apart from the doctors I would also like to pay rich compliments to the supporting staff like Sisters, PRO’s Vinolini, Puneeta, Asifa and others who were very helpful at the time of initial admission as well as at other stages of treatment. They took care to see that the formalities were completed quickly and help the patient get into the ward early.
PRO Vinolini in particular helped me a lot in getting all the hospital records signed and stamped quite quickly at the time of discharge and thereafter. PRO Puneeta was kind enough to get the debit card swiping machine to the patient’s room and facilitated bill payments without the patient having to go all the way to the payment desk. It was a very good gesture on her part.
The paramedical staff was very cooperative and would attend to all the calls from the patient quickly. They made all efforts to address the patients concerns to the extent possible at their level and try to keep the patient comfortable. The catering department was excellent. They supplied us with quality food. Almost every day they would come and take feedback about the food. Full compliments to them. To the best of my knowledge and from my interaction with other co-patients I have come to the conclusion that MIOT is following all COVID treatment protocols perfectly.
