Women at the Centre of Our Universe

10th Feb 2020

The role of women has changed for the better. Today they don’t merely carry the weight of their families and responsibilities on their shoulders, but also that of the world. While they continue to take care of everything at home and at work, it is about time we appreciate what they are doing and take care of their health as well.

When the world rang in the new millennium, women went from being homemakers to becoming change-makers, clearly setting the tone for the rest of us. Despite their newfound standing on the global stage, they continue to take care of multiple responsibilities that come their way with aplomb. It’s what makes them truly inspirational, and we are profoundly in awe of all their achievements. We also take pride in the fact that 80% of the employees at MIOT International are women, who are an integral part of our hospital as much as men. We are truly indebted to them for their selfless service towards making MIOT what it is today. Be they doctors, nurses, technicians or housekeepers, every woman here is treated with equal respect.

To celebrate women and emphasize their role in today’s world, we at MIOT International organized “Women at the Centre of Our Universe”, a unique women-centric programme conceptualized for the first time ever by a healthcare provider, on 10th February 2020. The programme primarily focused on topics related to various issues faced by women with regard to their health and life in general. Eminent members of the medical and non-medical fraternity from over 12 countries attended the event and delivered enlightening presentations, apart from being part of panel discussions.
