15th Aug 2011The MIOT Advanced Center for Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases conducted an International Seminar on significant advancement in the field of diagnostic Upper GI Endoscopy and Colonoscopy here at MIOT Hospitals today. Dr. Shyam Varadarajulu, Medical Director & Chief of Endoscopic Center of Excellence, University of Albama at Birmingham, U.S.A. lectured and demonstrated the functions and advantages of Endoscopic Ultrasound. - 15 August 2011.

18th Dec 2010Kidney transplantation in small children less than 15 kilograms has lot of problems. Technically it becomes difficult to place adult kidney in such a small child. The blood vessels of the adult kidney are much larger and required to be anastamosed to the aorta or IVC in the child.
