MIOT CHRISTIE ONCOLOGY UPDATE - 2024

MIOT International, Chennai, India organised “MIOT CHRISTIE ONCOLOGY UPDATE – 2024”, the first and the largest ever Indo-UK collaboration Oncology Conference at Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This event was held on 10th and 11th of May 2024 at InterContinental Tashkent.

This conference served as a pivotal platform in addressing the pressing challenges posed by cancer, a significant healthcare burden globally, with its incidence on a steady rise.

  • Distinguished speakers from India, the UK, and Central Asia shared cutting-edge insights into the subject and explored the latest advancements in oncology, focusing on various sub-specialties within the field. The illuminative lectures offered attendees a comprehensive overview of the evolving landscape of cancer care delivery.
  • The academic sessions covered all aspects of diagnostic and therapeutic oncology presented by 24 faculties representing from India, UK, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
  • The presentations were translated from English to Russian and were displayed in parallel.
  • The lectures were translated simultaneously and presented in the local language (Uzbekistan and Russian).
  • More than 524 professionals from India, the UK, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, including senior oncologists, emerging oncology specialists and general physicians attended these enlightening sessions.

The Ministry of Health, Republic of Uzbekistan collaborated with MIOT International in this knowledge sharing journey which approved and recognised this scientific conference and encouraged more than 120 doctors from its Ministry of Health to attend this cancer conference.
