Dr. Prithvi Mohandas, Managing Director, MIOT International, was honoured with the prestigious 'Malar Makudam' award.
In recognition of MIOT Hospitals’ remarkable efforts and contributions to healthcare, Dr. Prithvi Mohandas, the Managing Director of MIOT International, was honoured with the prestigious ‘Malar Makudam’ award. This esteemed accolade was presented by Dr. Ma. Subramanian, the Minister for Health and Family Welfare of Tamil Nadu, in the distinguished presence of Dr. A. Chellakumar, Member of Parliament and the General Secretary of All India Congress, as well as Dinamalar’ newspaper publisher Mr. L Adimoolam, Publisher of Dinamalar’s Puducherry Edition, Mr. K. Venkatraman and co-editor of ‘Dinamalar’ daily Mr. R. Krishnamurthy.
One of the notable aspects of the event is the compilation and publication of the life stories and experiences of the awardees. The biographical experiences of achievers were compiled and published in a volume titled ‘Malar Makudam – ‘Chennai’s Selvangal’. Dr. Ma. Subramanian, the Minister for Health and Family Welfare of Tamil Nadu, released the book, and it was received by Dr. A. Chellakumar, a Member of Parliament and the General Secretary of All India Congress.
