New Delhi: The Niryat Shree bronze trophy in the service provider category was awarded to MIOT Hospitals in Chennai. “We have been recognised among the hospital services for generating the highest foreign exchange,” said MIOT overseas marketing manager.

Founded in 1999 by Dr. P. V. A. Mohandas with the vision of building a world-class hospital in India, MIOT began by specialising in orthopaedics and trauma and grew into a premier multi-specialty hospital.

“The award means a lot to the company as it shows we are well recognised in the industry. It will also go a long way in encouraging and promoting the hospital,” said Mr. Dawood. The hospital planned to add “sophisticated equipment… manpower and services” to provide the best medical treatment in the world, he added.

M. Sathyamoorthy, MIOT Associate Manager (Accounts and Finance) who was also present at the ceremony, spoke about the success of MIOT (CHIME) Charitable Trust established by MIOT Hospitals to provide funds for free heart surgeries for needy children suffering from congenital and rheumatic heart diseases.
