He continued with medication, but a massive heart attack in 2002 lead to his hospitalization. Diagnosis revealed that neither a pacemaker nor an angioplasty would be a cure. The rest in his own words :

I accepted the suggestion of doctors here at MIOT and underwent a bypass surgery. Today I am a healthy and happy man. I am very grateful to MIOT for the relief from a harassing and a possibly risky condition.
