This marks an important milestone in strengthening the relationship between MIOT International and Mauritius and will benefit thousands of Mauritians by providing the care they need in their homeland — surrounded by their loved ones.
Who would need rehabilitation?
Be it a child, an adult, or an elderly person, if they have been hospitalised or are recovering from trauma, they need to get back on their feet and be independent. Rehabilitation enables them to resume their roles at school, work, and be the breadwinner of the family. Observing the increasing effects on the body after a patient has recovered, it became very evident that cure and care do not end with disease recovery. It had to go beyond hospital treatment and procedure, where a complete analysis of the patient’s condition is undertaken, and post-recovery care must be provided. Only then can it be assured that a patient can return to their normal life and live with ease.
