Emergency Situations

In such situations, you must immediately contact MIOT Emergency Care at 105710 or seek assistance from the nearest healthcare facility. MIOT shall not be responsible for any consequences arising from the inappropriate use of telemedicine services in emergencies.
Patient Responsibilities and Information Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date personal and medical information when using the platform. The quality and effectiveness of services depend on the accuracy of the information you provide. MIOT shall not be liable for any consequences arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the data you submit and consent to its use for providing healthcare services.
Consultation for Minors
Services for individuals below the age of eighteen years must be accessed under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By registering or using the platform on behalf of a minor, the parent or guardian confirms their authority to do so and agrees to be bound by these Terms on behalf of the minor.
Appointment Booking
Appointment requests made through the platform are subject to confirmation based on doctor availability and operational considerations. MIOT does not guarantee the availability of any specific doctor or time slot. Appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, and MIOT shall not be liable for any inconvenience arising from such changes.
Enquiry Form Usage
By submitting an enquiry through the platform, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions. The enquiry form is intended solely for general communication and does not constitute an appointment booking mechanism. It must not be used for emergency situations.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when submitting enquiries. All submissions must be made in English, and any attachments must comply with the specified file formats and size limitations as defined on the platform. MIOT does not guarantee successful delivery or timely response to enquiries and shall not be liable for delays or failures due to technical issues such as network errors or system limitations.

Payments and Refund Policy
All payments for consultations and related services shall be made through authorised online payment methods, including debit cards, credit cards, or other approved digital payment systems. Upon initiating a transaction, you may be redirected to a secure third-party payment gateway for processing. MIOT does not store complete financial information and shall not be responsible for any issues arising from third-party payment systems.
You represent that any payment instrument used is valid, lawfully owned, and authorised. MIOT shall not be liable for any loss arising from incorrect payment details, unauthorised transactions, or misuse of your account credentials.
Refunds shall be considered only for valid and genuine reasons at the sole discretion of MIOT. Refund requests based on dissatisfaction with medical advice, treatment outcomes, or consultation delays shall not be entertained. Approved refunds, if any, will be processed within approximately ten working days from the date of approval. Following completion of an online consultation, any follow-up consultation shall be valid only within seven days from the date of the initial consultation. Any consultation beyond this period shall be treated as a new consultation and may attract applicable charges as determined by MIOT from time to time.
MIOT reserves the right to modify payment-related terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of services shall constitute acceptance of such modifications. By using the platform, you consent to being contacted by MIOT for service-related communication, even if your number is registered under DND/DNC preferences.
Data Privacy and Electronic Communication
MIOT is committed to safeguarding your personal and medical information. However, you acknowledge that electronic transmission of data may involve inherent security risks. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
