To All the Doctors, Staff of Intensive Care Unit, Super Deluxe and Ward

We just wanted to express our thanks and appreciation for the wonderful medical treatment and care you all showed to me as patient and my spouse as attendant following my recent CABG surgery.

Before we came into hospital for the operation, we were very nervous and daunted by the fear of the unknown when we reached MIOT hospital at 2 O’clock in the morning (10^th December 2019) but you were all so kind and reassuring when we arrived and this took away a lot of our apprehension. We wish to thank the doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals and staff who each and collectively made our experience at your facility as easy and successful as it could be.

In my preliminary, pre-operation and on the day of the surgery, each person we interacted with (during ward visits) was confident and caring, and we felt we were in very competent hands before and after the procedure. You all demonstrated your total commitment into caring for me when I was helpless in the days immediately following the operation and also gave us the support and encouragement we needed to take my first steps on the road to my rehabilitation which meant so much to both of us.

We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone at MIOT International Hospital for their kindness and concern for me while I was there having surgery on 12^th December 2019.  From the ladies at check in (at 2:30am on the day of arrival at MIOT Hospital) to the final trip to MIOT car at the end of our stay, every single person we came in contact with was polite, cheerful, caring and kind. From scheduling initial tests and blood draws to pre-operation, the recovery room, my excellent nurses and my awesome Doctors, everyone went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and safety.  

We are writing to thank the four professionals (Surgeons) who performed the surgery and for their exceptional care. Exceptional care is indeed what I received during my surgical stay at your facility from 9^th December till 31st December 2019. You must be proud of such an outstanding staff, from the volunteers at the front desk to the cafeteria staff, and all in between: lab and x-ray staff, nursing staff and everyone we encountered. All were most gracious, friendly, professional, and helpful. The MIOT hospital itself is just lovely and clearly designed to facilitate patients comfort and care. We cannot say enough about my care.

We would like to particularly thank sister Ms Deepa, sister Ms Kanni, sister Jayapriya together with other sister’s who provided me with round the clock nursing care and most importantly to Dr Vijit K Cherian and his full surgical team (Dr Prakash, Dr Balakarthik, Dr Edukondalu)  for their expertise in the operating theater and for their post-operative support. The support and services has been very highly appreciated by us together with our families. These were members of the team whom we saw on a daily basis and whom we became particularly close to during our stay in the hospital. However, we would also like to thank all the other people, too numerous to mention, who all played such an important part in my treatment and recovery.

My surgery and recovery has been more than I could hope for, and I attribute it to the excellent care both of us received from MIOT. I woke up in recovery to Dr Vijit’s expert care (bless him) until he delivered me to the superb nursing staff in MIOT Hospital ICU. We thank the nurses for their tender and dedicated care. We truly felt as though I had angels watching over me. We much appreciated the follow-up from sister Kanni. Our sincere gratitude is also due the several other staff members; whose names we didn’t learn but we still recall the faces.

As we drove out of MIOT International Hospital on 31^st December 2019 at 10.00pm at night looking forward to celebrate a remarkable New Years Eve 2020 whilst still in Chennai India, we both commented on how lucky we were to have been cared for at the MIOT International Hospital facilities. We must confess that my care expectations were beyond what we expected. Your staff exceeded them all! We’ll be singing your praises to all we know!

Once again we are so grateful that prayers were answered through the exception care of Dr. Vijit Cherian and his entire surgical team. We look forward to see you all during my first review due in April 2020 with the full support of FijiCare Ltd.

We are now able to look forward to a long-held dream for our 3 beautiful daughters in their education. Without your help, this would not have been possible so you can imagine how grateful we are together with our entire family both locally and internationally.
