My mail may be a bit long but do find time from your very busy schedule and read it. To start with we have no words to convey our gratitude to you and the whole MIOT team for the generosity, care, love, sympathy from deep from your hearts and one can only experience but difficult to describe. HATS OFF to MIOT.

I will start with narrating how I was seen off on the 23rd Mid Night by Sister Saraswati and her team, how she packed the Forteo syringes in the cool box at 23 hrs in front of me, she was instructed earlier by Mr Balaji and his team from the pharmacy who were extremely professional in handling the forteo, and infact when I opened it after 16hrs the ice pack were just as they packed.

The nursing team headed by Sister Elizabeth on First Floor of MIOT international were like a family and always ready to stretch to maximum to provide the tender loving care to my Ukrainian spouse who was very demanding at times, I remember a few names I should mention- Sister Sathiya, Elizabeth and the rest as outstanding.

The Physiotherapist- Jency needs very special appreciation for being a gem of person, she managed to put confidence into Tetyana and teach her walk again, she was extremely punctual and professional, that when she told us goodbye on the Saturday saying she going for further studies, my wife was in tears but Jency reassured her and introduced her to Madhi who was as professional as Jency.

I also need say that “the Ayas” were very helpful in supporting her daily human needs which was done very professionally. Hello to them all.

The Coordinator Nassir and Mohamed made me feel very comfortable in coordinating our stay and travel issues and so were the overseas team.

To end We sincerely thank the Medical team led by the Lion Prof. Mohandas for being highly professional and confident in providing evidence based management to patients. The Discipline in MIOT is gold standard of quality which needs to be copied by the rest of the world. I will not be complete if I don’t appreciate the Chair, Madam Mallika Mohandas, who facilitated our visa process very promptly via her office.

Now coming to you personally, we admire your confidence, your courage, your convincing nature and your art of communication and prophecy on patients prognosis not forgetting the coffee recipe.

Your team had been very supportive, especially Dr Pawan, who was always ready answer all questions, he was very encouraging and supportive in discharge process with meticulously written discharge summary.

lastly as medic by profession for the past thirty years, my experience at MIOT was like my first day at medical school, I was amazed, excited in fact was speech less for a while, I can only say that I learnt a lot from the MIOT warriors. Wish you all a Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year 2014. Keep it up.
