1. What types of tests can I book for home collection?
You can book a wide range of blood and diagnostic tests, including health check packages, sugar, thyroid, cholesterol, kidney, liver profiles, urine tests, Sputum Tests, Stool Tests and more. For specific test availability, please call us or fill in the web query page on our website.
2. What are the timings for home sample collection?
Home visits are available daily between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM, including weekends. We are closed on government holidays.
3. How do I book a home visit for blood sample collection?
You can easily book a test by calling our team or making a query on our website a day prior to the date of your required sample collection. We’ll schedule a convenient time slot for your visit.
4. Is the sample collection service really free?
Yes, the first sample collection is absolutely free. You only pay for the tests you book — no extra charges for home visits. However, there is a charge of Rs 150/- payable for subsequent visits (PP samples) as relevant. For special tests such as the GTT test at home, please speak to our support team to understand the process and the charges applicable. Please note that if the visit is cancelled after the arrival of the technician at the location, a fee of Rs 250/- is payable.
5. Are the lab reports accurate?
Yes. All tests are conducted in our NABL-accredited, fully automated laboratory, ensuring reliable and precise results every time. All reports are reviewed and authorised by MIOT’s MD Pathologist
6. How will I receive my test reports?
Your reports will be sent directly to you via WhatsApp and email, making them easy to access and share. Hard copies can be requested at the time of a hospital visit if required.
7. Is there a doctor consultation included with the test?
Yes. You will receive a free tele-consultation with a MIOT General Physician (GP) to help you understand your test results and guide next steps if needed. You may book the appointment by calling our support number, and the appointment will be scheduled as per the doctor's availability and your convenience.
8. How soon will I get my reports?
Most routine test reports are delivered within 24 hours. Some specialised tests may take a little longer depending on the test's schedule and processing times. You will be informed at the time of booking.
9. Is your phlebotomy team trained and safe?
Absolutely. Our phlebotomists are experienced, well-trained, and follow strict hygiene protocols to ensure your safety during every visit.
10. How are my samples handled, labelled, and transported to the lab?
Each sample is carefully labelled with your unique patient ID and barcode at the time of collection to ensure traceability and accuracy. Samples are then transported in temperature-controlled, safety-compliant containers by our trained staff to the NABL- accredited MIOT laboratory, maintaining strict quality and biosafety standards throughout the process.
11. How do I make a payment?
Payment can be made at the time of booking the appointment via a link shared by the support team. Payment can also be made at the time of sample collection, either by cash or via UPI/ Credit / Debit Cards. A MIOT invoice would be sent to you on WhatsApp and Email, along with the

Refund & Cancellation Policy for Home Visit Blood Sample Collection
Full Refund:
Applicable only if the visit is cancelled by 8:00 PM on the previous day of the scheduled appointment.
Late Cancellation:
- If the visit is cancelled after 8:00 PM on the previous day or on the same day, a cancellation fee of ₹250 will apply.
- If the technician has already reached the customer’s location for sample collection and the visit is cancelled, a ₹250 charge will be retained from the payment.
Refund Timelines:
- Credit Card / Debit Card Payments: Refund will be processed to the original payment method within 7 working days.
- Cash or UPI Payments: Refund will be processed within 3 working days.
Non-Refundable Scenarios:
- If the sample has already been collected, no refund will be applicable.
