MIOT experts, along with 200 delegates across the globe, participated in this event and shared in-depth scientific knowledge on the Direct Anterior Approach (DAA) to hip replacement. The event provided an amazing opportunity for orthopaedic surgeons to enhance their skills and knowledge in DAA, which allows for faster recovery and better patient outcomes.

Mr. Pranesh Vishnu, a 27-year-old man from Coimbatore, suffered a severe accident that resulted in 60% damage to his spine, causing complete paralysis of his lower body. He underwent rehabilitation at MIOT Rehab Centre, where he showed notable progress. He transitioned from being bed-bound to achieving static standing balance and walking with minimal support, and his muscle strength improved from zero to nearly 100%.
